3. Take Notice Of The Check Engine Light

The check engine light is the most trustworthy tool when it comes to catching problems. It can turn on due to a variety of things, but no matter the reason, it signals you for attention. 

4. Change And Rotate The Tires

5. Keep All Fluids Filled-Up

Fluids are important because they keep your vehicle running smoothly and at a certain temperature. This also includes things like washer and brake fluid, so keep an eye on them too. Change the engine oil following the manufacturer's recommendations - and all other fluids.

6. Change Air Filters Regularly

Air intake filters are something most people don't think about. All of the air needed by your engine passes through them. Therefore, if they are dirty the air supply is insufficient. Sometimes you can clean them, but the best thing to do is to replace them.
