They were great, they fixed my car on time and I am enjoying driving it, with no worries. Thanks to Desires auto. I just recommended their shop to one of my coworkers, today. If your tired of all the hacks out there claiming to be BMW specialists then give Desi Auto a try. (I don't mean every mechanic is a hack, they know who they are 😉)

I'm not a big fan of dashboard signs. while going to pick up my mom from hospital the brake light illuminated. one BMW repair shop told me I needed new pads @ $480. But my pads were done only 13k miles ago. I choose to get a 2nd opinion at Desi, they're BMW specialist. Ryan told me pads are almost full and I have plenty of miles left on them, what I need is a new brake sensor (cost me very little money)

Some days the 2009 LR2 would start, other days I would get in the car,the power would turn on, but the car would not start. My LR2 had stopped recognizing my key fob. I couldn't believe how well they fixed the problem with my LR2. All the research I did online concluded the issue was going to cost me a LOT of money and there was no guarantee that it would even work. Desi Auto Care had my Land Rover for a day and fixed the problem at reasonable cost. Employee gave me ride ( drop off and pick up) home. Me- Happy!

From my first call to them until I picked up my repaired X3, they were courteous, answered all my questions, and did an overall good job. I liked the fact that they gave me a list of items that needed attention, and then broke it down into categories as far as what needed to be repaired now. As anyone know who owns a BMW, these are expensive cars to maintain but Desi was on par with what the dealership would charge if not a little cheaper. The car was diagnosed and fixed correctly and on time.

Very possibly the most honest German technician in my area. I brought my boxster in because it wouldn't start in the morning to go to work. They could have said "We're sorry, you need a new fuel injector for $5100" but came back with "the engine flooded and it needs new spark plugs and a tune up for $465". My family has been coming here for 2 years. Never had an issue with them.

After reading many positive reviews, I took my Porsche to Desi to get my car through inspection. I have been my own mechanic on this car and know the systems well. BUT emissions monitors are a next level of diagnostics and need more advance equipment. These guys were able to narrow down and fix the system (without throwing parts at it) which caused the emission monitor not to complete. I was then able to pass inspection. Parts and labor were no surprise. I buy a lot of parts from many different Porsche parts suppliers and Desi's parts cost were right inline with all of them. Shawn, the owner, takes his motto "The customer is the boss" very seriously and I experienced that first hand. I have always been concerned that if I could not fix something, where would I take my Porsche, certainly not the dealer. Now I have somewhere to go when the fix is beyond my skills.

I drive my Mini Cooper from West Philadelphia to this shop just for the peace of mind they offer. I loved my 2009 Clubman until it hit 70k miles. It needs multiple repairs including drive belt, water pump, front crank seal, transmission fluid leak, and thermostat. I reached out to Desi Auto Care. Shawn explained the life of this parts is short because the engine runs hot and is in small space. I compare his quotes with dealer and Desi saved me 65% Even though it was a snowy days, my car was done on time. When I was there to pickup my car, Inside the garage I noticed there was 2 more Mini Cooper getting repairs done.

I always walked my dog by Desi auto care and had never taken my BMW there. 1st week of Nov I took my BMW-dealer and was told I had an oil leak that was going set me back $2300+ to fix. The hard press was on to get this supposed oil leak fixed. I confused- I decided to get a 2nd opinion. I tried Desi as they advertised specializing in German cars repairs and close by to my home. The best move I made. Low and behold there was no oil leak as I suspected. I then decided to have some routine maintenance done there. Shawn explained what and why they were doing things, gave me a quote upfront, most knowledgeable tech to deal with. They performed the service expeditiously and as promised.

Only thing I needed is a lamp replacement on my 2011 Volkswagen Jetta and Cherry Hill dealer wanted over $215 to replace the bulb. Andrew said bring it in and he replaced it on the spot for a minimum cost. It's hard to find a trustworthy mechanic. I struck gold with Desi Auto Care.

I have noticed that when my brother is backing out of our driveway in my 2006 Volvo S60 there is a hissing noise (it sounds like air) coming from the engine area, the noise only appears though when it is in reverse. Once he hits the accelerator to go down the street the engine seems to make its usual accelerating noise and the hissing seems to disappear. Also the car has a check engine light. Ryan said hissing noise could be several possibilities: air intake leak, engine vacuum leak, and vacuum hose leak. Later on the diagnose the check engine light, Rachael called me with fair estimate. My Volvo was ready next day. Drives perfect now. I do recommend this shop to all Volvo owners.
