Desi Auto Care saved my Mini from shoddy work. After having my spark plugs replaced at a different shop, I noticed some strong gasoline smells and my Mini continued to misfire in the same manor that originally prompted me to have the vehicle serviced. I took it Desi for further inspection and repair and they found the previous shop had not properly tightened my spark plugs after replacement and gasoline fumes were leaking from the motor itself, contributing to the continued misfire. Desi also found my intake manifold gasket had been leaking which is something other mechanics either glossed over or didn't notice, because I have had to add oil to this Mini every so often for years and nobody has said anything about it. Desi really inspected the motor unlike lip service you get from many shops out there. Thankfully Desi was able to correct the problem before any further potential damage to the motor could occur, and they did so at an extremely reasonable price. I live an hour away from Desi so for me it is a trek, but it is one I will gladly make from this point forward to ensure my Mini is repaired by people who actually care about what they do, and the cars they work on. European vehicles require attention to detail and so often people hastily repair them leading to long term issues. Clearly Desi pays attention to detail and they do so at domestic car repair prices.
